This is a bring-your-own-lunch social event offered at 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on two Sundays per month and is specially designed for learners with mild to moderate intellectual disability and language delays. Participant ages range from 6-12 and teacher-led activities will implement an emphasis on basic social skills and table manners needed to encourage positive interactions with others in various settings outside of our learning center. Activities may include but are not limited to playing table top and out-of-seat games, creating art projects, and participating in team-building exercises.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a drop-off event however, if your learner requires assistance with using the restroom and/or remaining with the group, we ask that a caregiver remain with him/her during this event.
