for 3rd- 5th graders

Getting ideas out of a brilliant mind and down onto paper can feel like a massive bottleneck for neurodivergent learners. Write Moves is designed specifically for upper elementary students who know what they want to say but get overwhelmed by the mechanics, sequencing, and stamina required to say it. In a highly supportive, neurodivergent-affirming environment, we bypass tedious worksheets and transform writing into an active, low-stress experience.

Traditional writing worksheets often increase anxiety for neurodivergent minds. Here is how our specialized, active approach flips the script to make writing accessible:

Movement-Based

We use physical movement, pacing, and spatial games to model story structure and sequencing before anyone ever picks up a pencil.

Visual Frameworks

Graphic organizers and visual anchors turn abstract writing steps into concrete, tactile building blocks.

Collaborative Writing

Group games and interactive storytelling reduce individual pressure, allowing learners to build confidence alongside peers.

Micro-Goals

By breaking tasks into small, achievable steps, we prevent cognitive overload and explicitly celebrate small victories to build writing stamina.
